Barcelona faces Baskonia in a very important duel for both teams: the Catalans want to maximize their chances of winning home court advantage in the quarterfinals, while the Basque team wants to win to maintain their playoff spot. Tenerife needs to beat Lleida to secure second place and have home court advantage until a hypothetical semifinal. Valencia Basket and Unicaja are within a win of each other in third and fourth place. The Catalan side is 9th with 16 wins, tied with Gran Canaria and Baskonia. Manresa wants to win to improve its playoff hopes, hoping for a slip-up from these two teams. Despite having nothing at stake, Madrid wants to finish the regular season with as many wins as possible. Winning the last three matches would give them 30 wins and only four losses.

Baskonia and Barcelona face off in a direct duel for a playoff spot. Despite the fact that the Blaugrana have two more wins than the cutoff, they can't let their guard down. Baskonia, meanwhile, is tied with Manresa on 16 wins and must win to maintain that position for another week ahead of the final two matches.
