Cuauhtémoc Blanco's parties at Casa Morelos: With former soccer players and an alleged attempted rape

Cuauhtémoc Blanco, former América soccer player and former governor of Morelos , faces a complaint for attempted rape for events that allegedly occurred at the end of 2023 at Casa Morelos (official government residence) where, they claim, parties were held and other former América players attended.
The complaint (investigation file SC01/9583/2024) was filed with the Attorney General's Office of the State of Morelos in October 2024 by Nidia Fabiola, Cuauhtémoc Blanco's half-sister who held a position in the Secretariat of Economic Development and Labor during his administration as governor of the state.
During his term, Cuauhtémoc Blanco used this building for work meetings and meals with officials; his half-siblings also lived there.

On February 10, the complainant said in an interview with Ciro Gómez Leyva that she went to live at Casa Morelos because Cuauhtémoc Blanco invited her: “ There was space for me to stay ... It took me some time to decide, the truth is I didn't know whether to go or not, and well, after a month I decided to go there.”
Journalist Héctor de Mauleón cites documents from the Morelos Prosecutor's Office in a column, which states that Cuauhtémoc Blanco used to go to Casa Morelos when he fought with his partner; Nidia went to live in that residence in 2022, while Ulises Bravo Molina, another half-brother of the former governor, did so in 2023.
“ The house was rarely used as an office . According to Nidia Fabiola’s complaint , it was actually the party room for the former footballer and his inner circle ,” explains de Mauleón.

In that "inner circle" were other relatives of Cuauhtémoc Blanco , such as his cousin Edgar Riou Pérez and his political relative Abdiel Amirov Guerrero Rojas, as well as Germán Villa and Isaac Terrazas, former soccer players for América .
According to the columnist, the complainant recounts that at the Casa Morelos parties there were “pills or tachas,” alcohol, marijuana, cocaine and the presence of sex workers: “When Nidia Fabiola protested against the fact that government offices were being used for that kind of parties, they laughed at her.”
Isaac Terrazas was in the América youth system between 1991 and 2000, then he went on loan to the Halcones de Aguascalientes (First Division A) and retired in the 2006 season with the Tiburones Rojos; Germán Villa also played with the 'Águilas' at that time: he debuted with the club in 1991, was selected for the national team in France 1998 and Korea-Japan 2002, and retired in 2010 with Querétaro.
In 2019, both began working with Cuauhtémoc Blanco as managers of the Morelos Institute of Sports and Physical Culture, Villa obtained the position of State Director .

The alleged attempted rape against Nidia Fabiola occurred on December 14, 2023, when the former governor reportedly went to his half-sister's room during one of her parties and was intoxicated.
“The then governor of Morelos, drunk, with red eyes and unrepeatable verbal violence, threw Nidia onto the bed and tried to strip her of her clothes. There were four to six minutes of screaming, hitting, and struggling. She managed to push him away and scream for help. Blanco left furious. His victim spent the night crying, trembling, while the party downstairs continued until seven in the morning,” says de Mauleón.
Nidia told Ciro Gómez Leyva that it was hard for her to process these events: “The truth is that it has been very difficult, the truth is that I went into a kind of shock, I didn't know what to do , I didn't know what happened, to this day I don't know and that's why it took me so long to do all this... I hadn't told anyone, not my family either, so it was little by little that I made up my mind about this situation, unfortunately one remains silent out of fear, it was going to be my case, but I decided not to.”
Blanco has denied the accusations against him, denied being related to Nidia and accused her of extortion (he allegedly demands one million pesos to withdraw the complaint).
The current federal deputy said a few days ago that he will present an initiative so that men can defend themselves against unfounded accusations of sexual abuse : “I am going to prepare it there, so that we can defend ourselves as well. It is not fair, it is not fair what they are doing to me, destroying my image... I have two girls, I have a mother, really what they accuse me of is a total lie; so I will continue fighting, because that could happen to any of you; so we must also introduce some initiative to defend ourselves as men.”
The Morelos Prosecutor's Office requested that the Chamber of Deputies remove his immunity.
