Fourteen nurses at a maternity hospital become pregnant at the same time.

It's normal for a woman to get pregnant, but what doesn't happen often is that 14 nurses at the Center for Women and Babies at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin , are pregnant at the same time.

"It's an incredible moment," said Amy Bardon, the center's director, as for many of the staff, it's their first time becoming mothers. " Each of these women was already an expert on babies in their own right , but for many of them, their firsthand experience providing care to a baby—and actually being mothers—is about to deepen even further," she explained to USA Today.

That's why, upon discovering the case, the hospital announced the news on May 11, Mother's Day in the U.S. Although, what's most striking is that, as a maternity hospital, the staff has banded together to provide all the necessary comforts and support each other.

This way, they'll not only be able to work, but they'll also be able to understand the patients. The fact that they're all pregnant has strengthened "the bonds between them" and created "a unique support system," Ashley Short, one of the nurses, explained to USA Today.

Because now they're able to understand each other in a way that only those in similar situations can. "It's been a bit of a shock, but a lot of fun," she continued. Because, as Short has already been a mother four times, she was now able to give "tips and tricks" to new mothers and put her own work into practice.
