Mascherano dedicates these words of encouragement to Pope Francis

Former Argentine footballer Javier Mascherano and coach of Inter Miami led by Lionel Messi, On Monday, he sent a message of encouragement and support to Pope Francis, who remains hospitalized in Rome in critical condition.
"Francisco is in all of our prayers, hoping that he can recover," he said at the press conference prior to Tuesday's Inter Miami-Sporting Kansas City match.
"In the end, he is the Holy Father, the highest authority within our religion, at least mine. And obviously as an Argentine, he has meant something extraordinary to us for a long time. Beyond that, I always say, the Pope has no nationality: what he has to do is with spirituality. So above all, I hope and pray that he gets well," he added.
