The 65th birthday of the Golden Triplets. They celebrated their birthday between the Spanish summer and the Argentine winter.

On Saturday the 5th, the Golden Triplets turned 65. And although an ocean separates them right now, their endless love for each other and technology helped make the distance feel less distant. María Emilia and María Eugenia spent their 65th birthday in Sotogrande, southern Spain, where they are on vacation, while María Laura stayed in Buenos Aires and celebrated a wonderful time surrounded by part of their extended family.
“At one time, we spent our birthdays together, but when we got married and started traveling around our husbands' polo schedules, we separated. I was in France, Laura in England, and Eugenia in Germany,” María Emilia tells ¡HOLA! Argentina . She continues: “Later, our children were the ones who got married, and some settled in Europe. In my case, Corchito (Zavaleta) in France, and in Eugenia's case, Luli (Laprida) got married in Switzerland and lives in Spain. So, for this holiday, we got away to see them and we happened to coincide. On top of that, this year is unique in that Luli is about to become a mother (the actress lives in Madrid with her husband, photographer Eugenio Levis), so Eugenia came to be with her, and I'll probably stay for a few days to help them too. No matter the distance, my sisters and I always feel close together.”
The celebration took place the night before their big day: they ate at a beach bar near their home with their husbands, Clemente Zavaleta and Horacio Laprida, along with Luli, Eugenio, and some friends. “The plan was to eat well, a simple menu, and on the beach, which we love. I should clarify, though, that I'm not celebrating any more years; I'm still in my 60s. It's my sisters who are celebrating,” Emilia concludes with a laugh.
On the south side of the Atlantic, María Laura also prioritized family. And although two of her children, Ernestito and Bárbara, live in the United States, she had a massive celebration: in addition to her daughter Paulina accompanied by her four children, her nieces Emilia and Sonia Zavaleta, and Pilar Laprida with their husbands and children were also present. “Mom was also there, of course. They all wanted to come to the house, but there were a lot of us, so, taking advantage of the beautiful day, I suggested a walk outside. The truth is that all the kids were spectacular, and we had a lot of fun. Later that night, I had lunch with my husband (Ernesto Trotz) and friends,” Lula concludes, who of course received virtual hugs and kisses from her sisters.
Always active, the Trix never stop generating new projects. This year they starred in a new commercial and are fully working on their biopic. But, before blowing out the candles, they also announced the launch of a body cream and body mist to complement III, the perfume they launched last year.
