Three 'golden cups' arrested for arson in Saltillo

Three men were arrested in different parts of Saltillo for their probable responsibility in fires that occurred in the last few hours, reported the Police Department for Security and Citizen Protection through the Municipal Preventive Police. The first incident occurred in the Postal Cerritos neighborhood, where a citizen alerted the authorities through a WhatsApp security group. Upon arriving at the scene, the police officers located Abraham “N,” who tried to flee, but was intercepted and arrested. A medical report revealed that the individual was under the influence of a toxic substance.

Later, in the Del Valle neighborhood, neighbors reported Francisco Javier "N", 38 years old, as the alleged person responsible for starting a fire. Witnesses indicated that the subject fled after setting the fire, but was located and arrested thanks to information provided by residents of the area.
The third incident took place on Wednesday afternoon in the Lomas del Refugio neighborhood, where Cristian David “N”, 33, was arrested after allegedly causing a fire that affected 18 families by consuming sheds, a house and a vehicle . Neighbors said that the man, who was carrying two lighters at the time of his capture, started the fire and tried to escape.
The three detainees were placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor's Office to determine the corresponding legal responsibilities . The Security Commission urged the affected persons to file the necessary complaints so that proceedings can be carried out in accordance with the law.
