Wrestler 'Misterius' could be paralyzed after incident in the ring

AGUASCALIENTE.— Recently, the name 'Misterius' has captured the attention of wrestling fans and the media, as it was reported that the wrestler from Aguascalientes suffered a serious injury last Saturday, February 22.

It was also reported that the 33-year-old gladiator suffered an accident after the ropes of the ring broke while he was trying to do a flying stunt.

Following the chilling moment that took place and was recorded on video, media outlets such as Récord have revealed that this unfortunate incident could cost the Mexican wrestler the chance to walk for the rest of his life.

This past weekend at the San Marcos Arena in Aguascalientes, a performance was held as part of “The Farewell Tour of the Son of the Saint.”

However, when the gladiator from Aguascalientes climbed into the ring , the ropes broke as he tried to fly, and 'Misterius' ended up landing badly , as all his weight fell on his neck.
