'The Little Prince: An Immersive Adventure' brings back the magic of seeing with the heart
On the terrace of the Gran Estación Shopping Centre, the Sahara Desert is depicted in lights. An airplane appears to have crashed among the projected sands, and amidst this golden silence, a little prince appears, asking for a drawing of a lamb.

The scene does not belong to the pages of a book, but to 'The Little Prince: An Immersive Adventure', an experience that transforms the world's most read story into a journey through memory, imagination and wonder.
The installation combines digital art and technology to recreate the landscapes and characters of Antoine de Saint-Exupéry's classic. There are no spectators, but rather travelers who cross planets and stars, who listen to the fox speak of love and discover that, sometimes, it is enough to close your eyes to see again with your heart.
The story that was born in the sky
'The Little Prince' was written in 1943, during Saint-Exupéry's exile in New York, while war tore Europe apart. The author, a French aviator and adventurer, found the material for his metaphors in flight and the solitude of the deserts.
His own life inspired the pilot who crashes in the Sahara and, among the dunes, finds a child from another planet to remind him of what is essential. Saint-Exupéry disappeared a year later, in 1944, during an aerial reconnaissance mission in World War II.
Decades later, the remains of his plane would be found off the coast of Marseille, closing a mystery that seemed to have come from its own pages.
His legacy, however, has stood the test of time. 'The Little Prince' became the most translated non-religious book in the world, with over 200 million copies sold and versions in more than 600 languages and dialects.
A journey that traverses planets and emotions
The Bogotá experience captures the universal spirit of the story and transforms it into a journey through the soul. Each room represents a fragment of the Little Prince's universe: the asteroid where his rose grows, the encounter with the lamplighter, the vain man, the fox.
The projections envelop the visitor and lead them on an inner journey that recalls the tenderness and wisdom of childhood, achieving what the book achieved more than eighty years ago: to move adults and awaken the curiosity of children.

Amid soft lights and sounds that seem to float in the air, the words of the book are projected onto the walls: “Love is the only thing that grows when it is shared.” It is difficult to remain indifferent to that phrase which, more than a message, becomes an invitation to stop.
It's not just a family activity. It's also a refuge for those who need a break from the noise, a reminder that imagination remains a form of resistance against routine.
What is essential is invisible.
'The Little Prince: An Immersive Adventure' will be available until January 18, 2026, at the GE Live terrace of the Gran Estación Shopping Center in Bogotá. Tickets can be purchased directly at the venue's box office.
More than an exhibition, it's an opportunity to reconnect with your inner child, with the innocence that once gazed at the stars without asking their price. There, amidst lights, laughter, and shared silences, you understand that what is essential cannot be bought or measured: it is felt.
