'Yes, I was in jail': Sebastián Yatra reveals details of the time he was arrested; he was 18 years old.

Following the release of his recent album, "Milagro," Sebastián Yatra returned to Colombia to share some of his life experiences with the national media. During his visit to various media outlets, one of the revelations that most captured the attention of the Los Impresentables de Los 40 hosts was his time in prison.
"Yes, I was in jail. Put Sebastián Yatra in jail on the internet and you'll see my picture. I swear (...) That photo is from real life, when I was 18. A real thief," the artist stated, although he did not provide further information regarding this experience.

However, in a recent interview with the Spanish program El Hormiguero, the singer revealed the reason for his arrest in the United States: "I was once jailed for jumping off a balcony. I ran off a balcony, jumping off balconies, and they put me in jail when I was 18." The incident occurred in Panama City, Florida.
Yatra revealed that he spent 27 hours in prison, an experience he described as "difficult" and very scary. "I had a bad time, but I celebrated a lot when I got out, and it was an important life experience. It made me value freedom a lot," he emphasized.
