Ben Affleck and Matt Damon star in The Loot, Netflix's new thriller.

At its TUDUM event, Netflix presented the film The Loot, a thriller based on true events starring and produced by Ben Affleck and Matt Damon through their company Artists Equity.

The film, directed by Joe Carnahan, will be set in Miami and show how the discovery of millions of dollars hidden in an abandoned warehouse triggers a dangerous struggle for power and loyalty among a group of police officers.

The cast includes Teyana Taylor, Sasha Calle, Néstor Carbonell, Catalina Sandino Moreno, Kyle Chandler, and Scott Adkins, making the film one of the most anticipated releases of the year on the platform.

During the Netflix event held in Los Angeles, Affleck and Damon took the stage to present the project alongside part of the cast. Damon expressed the team's excitement: "It's so exciting to be here tonight... we can't wait to tell you all about our movie." Affleck, for his part, thanked the audience for their support and noted that the fans' enthusiasm made the production possible.

The event, which brought together leading figures from the platform, generated great expectations among attendees and confirmed El Botín as one of the key releases of the season.
