The Bogotá Mayor's Office presented this weekend's cultural agenda, which will transform the capital into a stage for concerts and cultural events, some free and others with tickets. Among the most anticipated activities is the 28th edition of Jazz al Parque.

According to the organization, the festival will take place at El Country Park on September 6 and 7, 2025. This gathering is considered one of the most important musical events with American roots in the country.
This year, internationally renowned artists from the Americas will perform, including Joshua Redman, Antonio Arnedo, and Tigran Hamasyan. Additionally, national talents such as Bogotá-based saxophonist and composer Antonio Arnedo will be on stage.

The 16th Film, Childhood and Adolescence Festival will open this weekend with a series of exhibitions at the Virgilio Barco Library .
On this stage, there will be two sections that will offer the opportunity to interact with national and international artists, in activities for all tastes.
Those interested can attend the meeting free of charge, as it is an event open to the public.

Meanwhile, the El Sueño Theater will present the play "Mancuspias and Other Games," a space that will pay tribute to Julio Cortázar, the Argentine writer and professor. The play will begin at 7:30 p.m.
The event will be paid, and tickets will start at 22,200 pesos. Prices may vary depending on factors such as service and seat location.

The Jazz al Parque Festival will be the star event of the weekend, with the first segment starting at 1 p.m. and running until 8 p.m. , featuring eight performances by different musicians.
- Artists: Biselad, James Holguín Quartet, Minor Sing from France, Nicolás Gámez, Antonio Arnedo from Bogotá, Camila Bañados from Chile, and Anzola New Trio, Tigran Hamasyan from Armenia.
María Claudia Perías, director of Idartes, noted that this event is a commitment to citizens' rights, promoting culture, creativity, and artistic quality through this musical genre, native to North America.

The Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater will feature María O.'s work, which pays tribute to communication barriers.
Those interested in attending the event can purchase tickets at the show, which will cost from 55,500 pesos , depending on the location where the user purchases the ticket.
Jazz al Parque will have its second date, featuring eight musicians from both Mexico and the Americas.
- Artists: Locos Lucas, Matijasevic, Holman Álvarez (Cali–New York), Sur Wave, Last Jerónimo & Mexica No Jazz (Mexico), Chigüire, Claudia Gómez (Medellín) and Joshua Redman (United States).

On the other hand, the Bogotá Mayor's Office announced the first Philharmonic Freestyle Festival. The event will take place at the Mirador del Paraíso starting at 10 a.m.
Interested citizens will be able to enjoy a day of urban music performances free of charge.
This event is a recognition of the world of freestyle, which has had an international presence thanks to exponents such as Valles-T, Marithea, and Big Killa.
