This is what Angela Aguilar's family said about Adele's alleged lawsuit

"A completely unnecessary drama," is how the Aguilars have described the reports that claim that Angela Aguilar was sued for alleged plagiarism by the British singer, Adele.
In recent days, Pepe Aguilar's daughter has been accused of copying one of the Grammy winner's biggest hits, "Rolling in the Deep"; and several users have pointed out some similarities between the song and the song "Que Agonía", which the young woman performs with Yuridia.
Rumors even indicated that Adele, based on the similarities between the choruses of both songs, accused Angela in the United Kingdom; however, the family has come out to deny it.
Through the Instagram account Prensa Aguilar, Angela's inner circle explained that this alleged lawsuit is an absolute "fake news", since the only thing the Mexican-American and the British share is talent:

The publication was accompanied by a short video in which, in addition to clarifying this situation, They ask media outlets and influencers who believed in rumours to verify their sources before spreading false information:
"The news that has been circulating about the British singer winning a lawsuit against our 'Princess of Regional Mexican Music' is more false than a chocolate coin. Remember: verify before sharing, make a good song... be original," is heard in the clip.

Previously, composer Gussy Lau (Angela's ex-boyfriend) who also participated in the composition of "Qué agonía" denied that there was any claim on the subject: "There is no lawsuit, the Sociedad Autoral de Compositores de México (SACM) just informed me," he told Argentine host Javier Ceriani.
