KMA Construcciones sells its stake in the alternate route to reach the Eastern Plains

KMA Construcciones completed the sale of 50 percent of its shareholding in the Transversal del Sisga Concession, one of the alternative routes to reach the Eastern Plains.
According to the company, this sale is part of its corporate strategy to optimize capital allocation, strengthen its financial structure and focus resources on new investment opportunities.
Specifically, this transaction will allow the company to reinvest in greenfield assets with high profitability potential, "where it has proven experience and the ability to generate sustainable value."

In addition, you will be able to diversify your investment portfolio, mitigating risks and expanding your market presence to ensure long-term financial sustainability.
KMA Construcciones also hopes to allocate resources to new international projects, such as the tenders in Panama, for which it has already been pre-qualified, thus consolidating its regional expansion strategy.
The Sisga Transversal is a Fourth Generation (4G) project that is key to improving competitiveness, boosting the regional economy and ensuring connectivity between the center of the country and the Eastern Plains.

This infrastructure, with a total investment of 966.849 million pesos and a length of 137 kilometers, has been consolidated as a strategic corridor that facilitates mobility, reduces travel times and contributes to the development of the surrounding communities.
"With this transaction, KMA Construcciones reaffirms that it has sold its entire stake in the concession and maintains its commitment to creating value, consolidating its position in the market and executing infrastructure projects that promote sustainable development and the progress of the country," the company said.
