“It’s like hanging out with a Beatle”: Luis Caputo revealed the global fanaticism for Milei

Economy Minister Luis Caputo once again made clear his alignment with President Javier Milei , whom he not only defended politically and economically, but also compared to a global pop culture icon. In a relaxed tone but with a powerful message, he asserted that the president "generates a fascination" that transcends borders and even described him as "a Beatle of the 1960s."
“You go to an international meeting and it's like going with a Beatle . As soon as Javier walks in, people are pushing to get a photo with him,” Caputo recounted during his appearance on the program Las Tres Anclas (The Three Anchors), broadcast on the official streaming channel Carajo , a program reminiscent of the digital universe of the Beatles.
There, he shared a panel with officials from his inner circle: Santiago Bausili (president of the Central Bank of Argentina), José Luis Daza (vice minister), Federico Furiase (director of the Central Bank of Argentina), and Martín Vauthier (BICE). The meeting was moderated by Felipe Núñez , a key advisor to the Ministry, and featured prominently the Twitter user and libertarian activist Daniel Parisini , better known as Gordo Dan .
During the discussion, Caputo not only highlighted Milei's role as a political force, but also his potential as a bridge to foreign investment . "The president is a shortcut in that regard. The trust he generates isn't easily achieved. Davos was key : there are many investors who think like us and are excited when they hear him say things no one else dares to," he emphasized.
The official also offered a medium-term political perspective and linked the head of state's leadership to future generations: "Kids are fascinated by Milei . So for the next 10 or 12 years, they're going to vote liberal . There's a cultural revolution underway," he said, in line with the discourse the President often reinforces on social media and at public events.
Finally, Caputo praised the president's speech at the Davos Forum , in which Milei attacked global progressivism and what he called " woke culture ." "That has a huge impact. It makes a difference. Many businesspeople feel that someone is finally speaking their minds," he concluded.
Caputo's intervention reinforces the ruling party's narrative surrounding Milei as a disruptive leader not only in Argentina but worldwide. This political capital, according to the minister, also translates into dollars, votes, and credibility .
