ADEPA condemned the attack on the TN channel by La Cámpora militants and called for an investigation into the attack.

The Association of Argentine Newspaper Entities (ADEPA) expressed its solidarity with Todo Noticias following the damage the channel suffered on Tuesday, after the Supreme Court upheld Cristina Kirchner's six-year prison sentence.
" We emphatically condemn the actions of the protesters who entered the Todo Noticias channel facilities to cause damage. An urgent investigation and punishment of those responsible is required. And we require reinforced protection and security for the media and journalists," the organization tweeted.
For his part, presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni, who worked as a journalist for various media outlets before joining the government, also spoke about the attack: "My solidarity with all the TN workers who have suffered the attack by a group of social misfits who appear to have wanted to 'defend democracy' by destroying everything they could with stones."
Hours after the Supreme Court's decision was announced, a group of Kirchnerist activists caused severe damage to the Artear headquarters, which hosts Eltrece and TN, among other television stations.
We emphatically condemn the actions of the protesters who entered the @todonoticias channel facilities to cause damage.
An urgent investigation and punishment of those responsible is essential. And we need to strengthen the protection and security of the media…

The attackers breached several security checkpoints and reached the first floor of the building, breaking windows, doors, and equipment in their path. Graffiti was also spread, and bicycles and cars belonging to guests and media workers were vandalized.
One of the vehicles attacked was that of political consultant Jorge Giacobbe, who was a guest on one of the programs. They used a rock to smash the windshield, smash the driver's side window, and also tore off the rearview mirror. Not content with that, they left a threatening message : "Don't mess around."
The militants destroyed the canal's historic iron gate facing Lima Street, near the intersection with San Juan Street, and entered the canal's main building through the parking lot, breaking into and vandalizing parked cars. They also destroyed the streetlights.
Journalist Gonzalo Aziz showed on camera one of the sizable stones, which was allegedly used to break the windshield of one of the vehicles. "We're talking about something that must weigh 20 kilos , much more," the journalist said.
They also smashed the windows on the ground floor, the first floor, and the first floor with stones. They also knocked down the glass doors of the channel's reception area, sprayed graffiti on the walls, and smashed the monitors on the walls.
"At 21:15, a small group broke off toward the Constitución station, and as they passed through Lima Street, they broke through the entrance gate to the Canal Trece premises, and a mob of approximately 70 people entered," said Inspector Commissioner Sergio Gigena, in charge of the police operation.
The commissioner added that the attackers were captured on video , although most of them had their faces covered. "We will work to identify them and bring them to justice," he warned.
