Attack on Miguel Uribe Turbay: This is how the presidential candidate's health is progressing
It's been five days since the attack that has Miguel Uribe Turbay fighting for his life in an intensive care unit at the Santa Fe Foundation. During a community gathering, a 14-year-old boy shot him directly in the head, leaving him unconscious to this day.
The medical reports, although not encouraging, continue to offer hope for an improvement in the presidential candidate's health. The politician already underwent surgery on the first day, and since then, new medical reports have been issued to keep the public updated.
The investigations are revealing new things every day, and the minor, arrested as the main perpetrator, has refused to accept the charges against him. Colombia is calling for peace, and hundreds of people arrive outside the medical center every day to pray for the candidate's health.
