During Andrea Chávez's report: "La Barredora", a criminal group, appears

During Senator Andrea Chávez 's first legislative activities report in Chihuahua, several vans were seen with banners depicting the legislator alongside Adán Augusto López and references to the criminal group "La Barredora."
Photographs and videos of the moment circulated widely on social media, sparking outrage and debate.
"La Barredora" is a criminal group that has operated in the Mexican Pacific region, especially in Acapulco, Guerrero. Although there are no records of it operating directly in Chihuahua, its name has been used on banners and political messages to discredit public figures, linking them to organized crime.
Andrea Chávez has shown closeness to Adán Augusto López, a presidential candidate during Morena's internal process in 2023. The senator actively participated in his campaign and defended his political project, which generated criticism from the opposition, accusing her of exploiting her legislative position for partisan purposes.
To date, Andrea Chávez has not issued any statements regarding the banners or their implications. On social media, she only shared a positive message following her report:
“Thank you, Chihuahua! My heart is overflowing with so much love: being accountable to you and working for you is the greatest honor of my life.”
