LKS Next expects to exceed €100 million in turnover by 2028.
LKS Next expects to exceed €100 million in turnover and increase its workforce by 25% to reach 1,000 professionals by the end of 2028. At the end of 2024, the Basque consulting and technology group's revenue and profit figures have "far exceeded" the objectives set in the recently concluded strategic plan, 2021-2024, with a turnover of €73.8 million, representing a 19% growth compared to the previous year.
"This figure not only comfortably exceeds the 56 million euros target set in the 2021–2024 strategic plan, but also confirms the company's excellent performance," said Elena Zárraga, CEO of LKS Next, along with Nerea Alberdi, president of the technology and consulting group, at the start of the General Assembly held this morning at the Tabakalera building in Donostia-San Sebastián.
In addition, the consulting and technology group associated with the Mondragón Corporation reached 807 professionals in 2024, after creating 59 new jobs during the year, representing an 8% increase compared to 2023.
In terms of profitability, LKS Next achieved a consolidated net profit of €5 million, after allocating another €2 million to collective variable remuneration, distributed among members and non-members of the cooperative group. EBITDA exceeded €6.4 million, representing a 48% increase compared to 2023. Despite the intense investment cycle in expansion and diversification of activities, the results reflect a very positive trend. Furthermore, the company maintains a solid financial structure, with an equity independence ratio of 1.3.
The group's accounting also reflects a firm commitment to social responsibility, with more than half a million euros allocated to solidarity funds aimed at regional development and supporting other business projects.
Future challengesWith these results as a starting point, the consulting group is embarking on a new phase with new goals, described by the company itself as "ambitious." Thus, the guidelines of the new 2025–2028 Strategic Plan, presented during the General Assembly, aim to maintain "sustained and impactful growth."
In this regard, LKS Next has set a goal of exceeding €100 million in revenue and reaching a workforce of more than 1,000 professionals by the end of this period. However, according to Zarraga, "this plan, which we have called 'P100 by P1000,' has been designed without considering possible inorganic growth that could complement and enhance our service offering."
