The legal status of another person implicated in the murder of Brugada collaborators will be determined on Wednesday.

MEXICO CITY (apro) - Six of the 13 detainees allegedly involved in the murder of Ximena and José, the private secretary and advisor to the current head of government, Clara Brugada, were charged with minor offenses ranging from drug dealing to firearms possession. The degree of involvement of the detainees in the crime was not explained during the hearing.

It was detailed that David “N”, Joshua “N”, Abraham “N” and Sandra “N” were linked to proceedings for crimes against health, in the form of drug dealing, and were imposed the precautionary measure of preventive detention.
The supervisory judge who conducted the hearing of the four people linked to the case set a two-month deadline to complete the complementary investigations.
Francisco "N" and Norma "N" were also charged with drug trafficking offenses, as well as possession of ammunition for the exclusive use of the Armed Forces.
His case will be referred to federal court for the crime of possession of ammunition for the exclusive use of the Army, so a federal judge will have to decide the timeframe for the additional investigation.
In addition, a supervisory judge imposed justified preventive detention on Arturo "N" for crimes against public health, including possession for commercial purposes, improper possession of vehicle registration cards, and drug trafficking.
Arturo "N"'s defense team requested an extension of the constitutional term for their client, so it will be decided on Wednesday the 27th whether he will be charged or not.
