Chivas defeats Necaxa at Akron Stadium

Chivas defeated Necaxa 3-1 at Akron Stadium. From the start, the Rebaño dominated possession and created the best chances, with Richard Ledezma instrumental in the first two goals. Ledezma opened the scoring, and Santiago Sandoval extended the lead before halftime. Necaxa had a few chances, but failed to truly trouble the red-and-white defense in the first half.

In the second half, the Rayos reduced the deficit with a goal from Cristian Calderón, assisted by Pável Pérez, taking some control and seeking an equalizer. However, Chivas responded with a goal from outside the box by Samir Inda, securing a 3-1 victory at the close of the match. Chivas displayed defensive solidity and effective attack, while Necaxa struggled to reverse the score without success.
