F1 pre-season test: Schedule and where to watch Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz on TV and online

The Formula 1 season is set to begin shortly on 16 March in Australia (Albert Park circuit, Melbourne), and the cars are preparing to begin their journey in the 2025 season. Before the start, the teams will test the performance of the cars created by their engineers in pre-season testing, which will be held from 26 to 28 February on the Shakir circuit (Bahrain), the usual venue in recent years.
It is a campaign without major technical or regulatory changes, but in which some drivers have changed teams. Carlos Sainz will debut with Williams, his fifth team in Formula 1, while Lewis Hamilton will debut with Ferrari, the driver he stole from the Spaniard.
Liam Lawson will be Max Verstappen's teammate, replacing Checo Pérez. Young drivers such as Oliver Bearman (Haas), Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Mercedes), Jack Doohan (Alpine), Isack Hadjar (RB) and Gabriel Bortoleto (Sauber) will be joining.
When is F1 2025 pre-season testing?
The performance of the Aston Martin, with Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll at the helm, will be one of the points of interest for Spanish fans, as will the power of the Williams with Carlos Sainz.
Pre-season testing will take place on 26, 27 and 28 February (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) in Bahrain. The tests are usually interesting to find out how the balance of power between the cars is, and above all, who is fast and who has problems.
