Gudelj and Peque out of Sevilla FC session

Sevilla FC is preparing for its clash against Rayo Vallecas on Saturday at the training ground and is doing so with some absences among García Pimienta's pupils. The most significant is that of one of its captains, Nemanja Gudelj, who did not participate in the last match against Mallorca and who did not train with his teammates this Wednesday either.
Pimienta has already explained the reasons why the Serbian was unable to play against Mallorca. He spoke of discomfort in the session before the match, an ailment that seems to persist days later. "He couldn't play, he had a small discomfort in the last training session and it was better not to risk too much. We would have forced the situation too much. It's true that the boy wanted to be with the team, he was on the bench, cheering, he even started to warm up, but he wasn't 100% available for the match," said the Catalan coach.
The Serbian is still waiting to be able to make a comeback and remains among the Sevilla absentees along with the four already known absences of Gerard Fernández 'Peque', Akor Adams, Sambi Lokonga and Tanguy Nianzou. All of them continue to take steps to overcome their respective ailments as soon as possible, the most complicated being that of Nianzou, who will miss the entire season.
In Wednesday's session at Cisneros Palacios, Pimienta also had the presence of several players from Sevilla Atlético and Sevilla C, including Ibra Sow and the very young Alexis Ciria.
