Independiente cannot enjoy its summer in peace: the new and sizable inhibition that complicates the next market

Independiente is having a peaceful summer after a long time . These are sunny days on the red side of Avellaneda because Julio Vaccari 's team is flowing, playing well and winning, especially at home. Based on convincing and forceful performances, the 'Devil' is in the group of those at the top in Zone B (second, one point behind the leader Rosario Central). However, the enjoyment can never be complete for this club accustomed to economic bombshells. Now a new inhibition has fallen due to another old debt. How much is it and who is it?
The claim is from Juanito Cazares , who wore the red player between 2022 and 2023. He played a total of 37 games , scored 3 goals and gave two assists in his time. He never earned continuity and his level fluctuated. He left with the pass in his possession . FIFA granted his claim and sentenced Independiente to pay him 570 thousand dollars plus interest . Likewise, the Avellaneda club was inhibited for the next transfer market if it does not lift this debt.
Cazares arrived at Independiente at the hands of the then manager Daniel Montenegro . It had been reported at first that his arrival would be as a free agent since he needed to leave Ukrainian football (he was playing for Metalist) when the war with Russia broke out. However, some time later, with the Moyano family out of power, it was reported that in reality the Rojo had to pay for his transfer to the Ukrainian institution and that there was also a debt with the player's agent.
Through negotiations, the amount was lowered, but the debt remained. Independiente did not pay , since it prioritized paying off other more urgent issues (the debt with América de México and with Gastón Silva, for example). Now it has no rope left to continue pulling with the Ecuadorian and will have to pay him what he is legally claiming.

However, this will not be the only headache for President Néstor Grindetti and company in the middle of the year. The leadership already knows that more inhibitions will fall. There is one that will be much more serious . It is the debt with Fernando Gaibor , another Ecuadorian who passed through Avellaneda without pain or glory.
The figure in this case reaches 1,400,000 dollars . Gaibor had already banned Independiente, but he accepted an installment plan and dropped the claim. What happened next? El Diablo failed to meet these installments and the agreement was cut short, so now everything is back to square one.
And there may be more because there is another outstanding debt with Martín Campaña , Uruguayan goalkeeper, worth 120 thousand dollars that would also fall to inhibit facing the winter transfer book.
Independiente seems destined, at least for now, to financial suffering . Old debts continue to suffocate it. When the team wants to distract its fans for a while, who are in such need of some joy, economic reality hits it again to remind it that it is still tied hand and foot.
