Junior seeks the top spot in the league against Envigado; Teo Gutiérrez starts on the bench

Junior de Barranquilla will host Envigado this Monday in the continuation of the sixth round of the BetPlay League 2025-I, at the Roberto Meléndez stadium in Barranquilla.

The news is the return of striker Teófilo Gutiérrez to the Junior roster, after almost four years of absence. His last match wearing red and white was on April 15, 2021, when the team beat Bolívar of Bolivia 3-0 in the Copa Libertadores.

After his previous stint at Junior, Teo moved to Deportivo Cali, with whom he won the championship in 2021. He then played for Bucaramanga, returned to Cali and went on to play for Real Cartagena.
