Live: Millonarios hosts Junior at El Campín in Bogotá: follow the minute-by-minute Betplay League match.

Millonarios urgently needs to wake up, to get out of the tail and the crisis, but this Saturday, after the departure of David González as coach, they have a difficult challenge against the league leader, Junior, at El Campín stadium, at 8:30 p.m.
The capital team has a new manager. Hernán Torres has already been confirmed as the new manager. However, Daniel Giraldo, who was González's assistant, will be on the bench this Saturday. This will happen while Torres plans his work and takes the reins.

The outlook for Torres is very different from what he found in 2012, when he replaced Venezuelan Ríchard Páez. Although he took over a squad that had just been eliminated, he had time to change it to his liking and thus earned the 14th star, which fans had waited 24 years for.
"I'm very happy to return to this great institution like Millonarios. Thank God, life, and football for being back at the club," said 64-year-old Tolima coach Hernán Torres.
He added: "We will work and spare no effort to make things go well and achieve triumphs and successes."
Now the situation is very different. Millonarios is last in the league table, with just one point in six matches, and the chances of reinforcing the squad left behind by David González are practically nil.
Millonarios celebrated his return in an official statement. "Torres returns to the place where he made his mark in 2012, the year he led the team to the 2012-2 Liga title," it said.
He added: "He has a track record in Colombian football, having managed Deportes Tolima, Águilas Doradas, Independiente Medellín, América, and Atlético Bucaramanga. He also has international experience at clubs such as Alajuelense (Costa Rica), Melgar (Peru), and Emelec (Ecuador)."
In addition to his title with Millonarios, Torres has achieved other important achievements in his career. He was champion with América in the 2016 Torneo de Ascenso, won the 2018 Torneo Clausura with Melgar (Peru), and with Deportes Tolima he won the 2021-I League and the 2022 Superliga.
