Mbappé will not travel to San Sebastian due to toothache

After the great game between Barça and Atlético , with constant back-and-forth in a score of eight goals, this Wednesday it is the turn of Real Sociedad and Real Madrid in the first leg of the semi-finals of the Copa del Rey. The Whites are favourites, but they go to the Reale Arena with sensitive absences, the most important being Kylian Mbappé.

The Frenchman underwent tooth surgery and last night he was still suffering from pain which prevented him from being included in the squad for the trip to San Sebastian. Mbappé did not play in the Copa del Rey quarter-finals in Leganés, on that occasion due to rest, and is expected to make his return in the league match against Betis next Saturday.

In addition to Bondy, Fede Valverde and Thibaut Courtois have not been included in the list for the match. The Uruguayan, who was not in action against Girona, is suffering from discomfort in his left thigh, while the Belgian goalkeeper, with a slight strain, has always been rested this season in the Cup, with Lunin being the starting goalkeeper in the tournament.

The list of absentees has also been extended by Jesús Vallejo, who has a hamstring tear. Madrid still has Dani Carvajal and Eder Militão out for long-term injuries, who in principle will not play for the rest of the season.

The squad includes several youth team players, midfielder Chema Andrés and forward Gonzalo García, the reserve team's top scorer in Primera RFEF, as well as goalkeepers Fran González and Sergio Mestre.
