More bad news for Millonarios: one of the team's reinforcements for the second half is out due to injury.

Millonarios announced this Friday the list of players called up for the match against championship leader Junior de Barranquilla, which will be played this Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at El Campín. There is one more player missing due to injury.

Brazilian midfielder Bruno Sávio, one of the team's new faces, will be sidelined with a "grade one sprain of the medial collateral ligament in his right knee," the club reported on its website.

Sávio, who joined the team this semester after being released by Bolívar of Bolivia, has only played two games, one as a starter, in Millos' 2-1 loss to Unión Magdalena on Wednesday, a result that led to the dismissal of coach David González.

That day, the Brazilian only played briefly and was replaced at halftime by Argentine Santiago Giordana. Pending his progress, he will be sidelined for at least a month.

Bruno Sávio joins a long list of players with physical problems, including David Mackálister Silva, Leonardo Castro, and Andrés Llinás, all with serious injuries. The first two have not played since last semester, although Castro is close to returning. Full-back Helibelton Palacios is also out.

Hernán Torres was announced this Wednesday as Millonarios' coach, replacing González. This will be his second stint at the helm, following his tenure in 2012-13, during which he won a league title and reached the final of the Copa Colombia.

However, Torres will not be in charge this Saturday. Carlos Giraldo, former U-20 coach and González's assistant, will be in charge for this match. The Tolima coach is expected to officially start on Tuesday, when Millonarios visits Real Cartagena in the second leg of the BetPlay Cup Phase 1B, with a 3-1 lead.

The match between Millonarios and Junior de Barranquilla will kick off at 8:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on Win+ Fútbol.
