A car drives into Parisian supporters gathered on the Champs Elysées after PSG-Arsenal

While the crowd had gathered in large numbers on the Champs Elysées to celebrate PSG's qualification for the Champions League final , tensions rose during the night.
According to Le Parisien , and as shown in several videos circulating on social media, a car plowed into supporters standing near the Parisian avenue, injuring at least three people, according to the police. One of them was in critical condition. The vehicle was then reportedly pursued and then intercepted by other supporters. The car was reportedly found burned a little further away.
At the final whistle—or even just before, when qualification seemed assured—thousands of Parisian supporters took to the streets of the capital to celebrate the victory. First around the Parc des Princes , but also on the Champs-Élysées. Around 2,000 police officers were deployed for the evening in the capital. Scenes of tension erupted in various areas, with police intervening. According to an initial report, 19 arrests were made.
