The 38-year-old Argentinian star's return is therefore not planned for the time being, a major blow for Miami in the Leagues Cup, which the club won in 2023 just after Messi's arrival in Florida, the latter having scored 18 goals and provided 9 assists in 18 MLS matches this season.
