Mulhouse attack: suspect brought to justice, his brothers and his host released

The attacker, an Algerian in an irregular situation in France, killed a passer-by in Mulhouse with a knife on Saturday and injured six other people.

He will be presented to an anti-terrorist investigating judge , with a view to his possible indictment. His two brothers and his host, who had been placed in police custody, were released "in the absence of evidence allowing, at this stage of the investigations, to characterize their involvement in the terrorist criminal project" , explained the Pnat in a press release.
