Les Bleues opened the scoring with a strike from Kadiadiatou Diani (1-0, 23rd), Marie-Antoinette Katoto (2-0, 28th) doubled the lead and Sandy Baltimore scored the 3rd goal (65th), before Iceland reduced the gap with a deflected free kick from Karolina Lea Vilhjalmsdottir (2-1, 37th) then by Ingibjorg Sigurdardottir (3-2, 68th) from a corner.
