North. Child missing at sea: search finally stopped, investigation opened

The operation was launched around Saturday following reports of three children in difficulty on Gravelines beach.
The ten-year-old child disappeared at sea in Gravelines (Nord) on Saturday afternoon. The search for him, which was suspended early that same evening, will not resume, reports Ouest-France .

The operation was launched around 4 p.m. Saturday following reports of three children in difficulty on Gravelines beach.
Two of them were able to return to the beach on their own, Prémar reported. Aged 10 and 13, they were taken to Dunkirk hospital. The third remained missing at the time.
