France Music Week, an international week promoting the French music industry, is being held across France from June 16 to 21, ahead of the 44th Fête de la Musique. A Verian-Crédit Mutuel survey reveals that 59% of French people fear that artificial intelligence (AI) will produce musical content that lacks emotion.

"Music in the lives of the French," a Verian barometer for Crédit Mutuel , explores every year on the eve of the Fête de la Musique on June 21, the very close relationship between the French and this essential cultural leisure activity. This year, the survey opens France Music Week, an international week promoting a dynamic but still fragile French sector. Professional meetings, under the aegis of President Macron, and concerts programmed by the National Music Center (CNM) will highlight all types of music and examine their future. An overview of five key trends.
