Colmar Wine Fair 2025. Police conducted checks around the FAV
Police deployed around the Colmar Wine Fair on Monday evening, checking drivers for alcohol and drugs.
In the presence of Prefect Emmanuel Aubry, the national police deployed its forces this Monday evening to the area surrounding the Colmar Wine Fair. Motorists from the CRS38 police force were directing drivers to the checkpoint at the barracks crossroads, where their colleagues from Colmar were conducting alcohol and drug screenings.
During the 2024 edition, some 2,000 checks were carried out. More than 40 drivers were fined for alcohol. This weekend, the police intercepted an unlicensed driver who was trying to evade one of these checks.
