Jœuf. Music Festival on Rue de Franchepré: two stages for a first!
On Saturday, June 21st, part of Rue de Franchepré will be blocked off starting at noon. This is where two stages will be set up for the first Fête de la Musique. One will be resolutely rock, the other focused on French chanson and urban music. We take a look at the situation with Agence Tout Rock, co-organizer of the event.
As far back as she can remember, Pascale Frangiamore, deputy mayor of Jœuf, can't recall a Music Festival being organized in the town. "There were some informal events, where those who wanted to played in front of their homes. But nothing that wasn't organized by the town hall." So, André Corzani, the town's chief magistrate, commissioned the Tout Rock Agency to remedy the situation...
