Moselle. Music will be in the spotlight at Saint-Jean de Sierck-les-Bains

This is one of the town's most important festivals, attracting thousands of visitors. Saint-Jean is announced in Sierck on June 21st and 22nd, with must-see events and a few new features. The festivities will begin on Saturday at 6 p.m. with concerts followed by a fireworks display. Here's the program.

When we say Saint-Jean in Sierck-les-Bains , we think of the flaming wheel that rolls down the Stromberg, but also of the fireworks. This year again, on Saturday, June 21, these must-sees will be part of the party from nightfall. As part of the Fête de la Musique, concerts are also planned. From 6 p.m., the festivities will kick off. On Place du Marché, two local bands, Flowearth, will be the opening act, followed by the Sierckois who make up Fload. On Place Morbach, The Voice trio will be back. Flowearth will continue in style, without forgetting Courtney Jayd and Louise. Between pop, rock, and covers, there will be something for everyone. Le Chat Noir will offer a more intimate break in a cellar, but be careful, it will be powerful rock with Van Jex. At the castle, the atmosphere will be provided by a DJ.

If you're feeling peckish, there'll be plenty to fuel you up. "We're innovating this year. There will be potato pancakes prepared by Le Clos de la Ravine d'Apach, hay-smoked ham, grilled meats, and even tartes flambées. And we've hired a vegetarian food truck ," explains Jean-Marc Streit, in charge of communications. Burgers will be available at the Chat Noir cellar. It will also be possible to eat at the château, but admission costs €4.

On Sunday, after a short night, the Amicale de la Saint-Jean (Saint-Jean Association) invites bargain hunters to meet at 8 a.m. "There are still a few spots left for the garage sale." A walk through the vineyards is also on the program (register at the tourist office). In the afternoon, a parade of fifteen floats, themed around music, is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. Please note that the Quai des Ducs de Lorraine will be closed to traffic in the afternoon. "There will be horse-drawn carriage rides and face painting for children, as well as a small funfair, and always something to eat and drink. Don't forget to bring tokens to pay for your expenses; they are on sale now at the tourist office, as well as at the snack bar and at the château."

Of course, as always, on Saturdays from 6 p.m., a shuttle will run between Bouzonville and Sierck, as well as between Basse-Ham and Sierck. The return trip will also be provided. " Five circuits are planned, the timetables are available on the event's Facebook page ." So you can come to Sierck without worrying about finding somewhere to park.
