Music. Star Academy at the Zénith in Saint-Étienne, just like on TV!

A raucous crowd turned out to see the nine academy members relive the Star Academy spirit this Sunday in Saint-Étienne. More than 5,000 spectators applauded Marine (the winner) and her companions in a nearly two-hour show that showcased vocal prowess.
It's a real hit. Following the ratings success of Star's return to the small screen, the concept is now being rolled out on tour. And the entire crew of Marine, the big winner of the talent show, was in Saint-Étienne late Sunday. The nine companions relive the best moments of the TV show in front of nearly 5,000 spectators who had made the trip.
The stage had a local feel, starting with the drummer from Saint-Étienne, Julien Goëpp, present with three other musicians to provide live accompaniment, but also with a "Who's the strongest?" , sung by Maureen and taken up by a boiling hot audience during the interludes of "Luxor j'adore" .
A central rotating platform, huge screens, dancers, confetti and smokeWe already made the trip last year, but it must be said that the excitement hasn't waned, reinforced by an impressive staging. Now, there's a central rotating stage, huge screens in the background, dancers, confetti, and smoke billowing everywhere. Of course, the show's iconic stars proudly sit on either side of the stage.
On the programming side, we found a collegiate scene: the Academicians started with Quand on arrive en ville from Starmania, before moving on to Recommence-moi , the anthem of the season, sung at the top of their lungs by an overexcited audience ready to scream, choreography in support. Louna and Tom, eight years old, don't miss a thing with their headphones screwed on their ears to reduce the noise.
Emblematic solo passages and duetsWe also heard some iconic duets again: Quand on a que l'amour by Marine and Charles, or A ma place by Marguerite and Ulysse. Not forgetting the solo passages, with Frank on Ne me quitte pas , sung from the stands, or Charles on SOS d'un terrien en détresse . The two finalists Ebony and Marine performed their singles: Ma faute and Unforgettable . Special mention for the artist from the North who covered a highly anticipated All by myself .
While they were still unknown last October, the nine Academy members on the tour are drawing crowds and have become true artists. They are certainly the highlight of the program and the production, which has increased its performances and announced a new season.
