Near Lyon: a light drone show in July

On July 11 and 12, an open-air concert combining classical music and a drone show will light up the sky over Parilly.
On July 11 and 12, the Hippodrome de Parilly will host a unique show in Lyon: the DroneArt Show, a blend of classical music concerts and drone lighting choreography. A first in France for this format, designed as an immersive outdoor experience.
For 65 minutes, a string quartet will perform works from the classical repertoire—including Vivaldi and Tchaikovsky—while several hundred light drones will draw geometric figures, constellations, and arabesques in the sky. The show is being hosted by the Fever cultural platform (which notably produces the Candlelight concerts) in partnership with Nova Sky Stories, a company specializing in aerial shows.
This new hybrid format, combining technology and live musical performance, aims to offer an alternative to traditional fireworks displays. The event will take place at 10:15 p.m. on both evenings, in an open-air setting. Admission starts at €32, with children under 3 free.
