Ostwald. Start To Play: Video Game Fever on September 13 and 14 at Point d'Eau
The Start To Play festival retains its fundamentals, but new and tempting proposals are the highlight of this 12th edition organized by the BeatBurst association, the second in Ostwald. This dive into the world of video games takes place in the freely accessible "gaming zone", where old and new generation consoles await players. In the "arcade room", the public will find original and Japanese terminals, including the famous Dance Dance Revolution , which is played with the feet and brings together all generations.

Looking for some competition? Tournaments are being held throughout the weekend: Mario Kart World on Nintendo Switch 2, Mario Smash Football on GameCube, 1v1 Challenges on Trackmania / Fortnite / Counter-Strike , Ed & Edda : Grand Prix – Racing Champions . Registration will be on-site only.
In the "Start to Cos'Play" area, the Iconic association has invited talented designers to participate in its competitions and fashion shows. With the theme of "Magical Girl," sets and an immersive photo studio will be available for cosplayers.
An exhibitor village and conferences related to this universe complete the festival's program. Adeline Chetail, the French voice of iconic video game characters such as Zelda ( The Legend of Zelda : Breath of the Wild) and Ellie ( The Last of Us ) and Mei ( Overwatch ), will also be featured. Between signing sessions, Q&A sessions, and a dubbing workshop, the public will have many opportunities to interact with the actress.

Also on hand is Edward, a retro gaming YouTuber who shares his gaming wisdom with humor. And Of Hugo, a three-time finalist at the Just Dance World Cup nationals, who will host some fiery sessions on stage.
"We are also proud to welcome this year the Tivola Games studio from Hamburg, which designed a game for Europa Park: Ed & Edda , a Formula 1 Grand Prix, which was released this summer.
