Meeting in council on Thursday evening, the elected representatives of the Auxonne Pontailler Val de Saône community of communes received a presentation of the future intercommunal tourist office.

Work will begin after the holidays. In the meantime, community officials, meeting in council in Auxonne on Thursday evening, attended a presentation of the future Auxonne tourist office managed by the Auxonne Pontailler Val de Saône community of communes . The presentation was given by Justine Gavignet, head of tourism development and director of the tourist office.

"The current office is located in the city center, at the foot of the church. The aim was to be closer to tourist traffic," explained Justine Gavignet. The site of the former slaughterhouses, close to the Saône River, the cycle route, and the departmental road, was therefore a great opportunity for the community. "It's close to the Saône River, the cycle route, and the departmental road," explained Justine Gavignet.
