"We are small, but essential." Since ^April 1, Jean-Philippe Labattut has been the new regional director of customs in Dijon ⁽¹⁾ .

At 46, he has "25 years in the customs administration," as he specifies. This Valentinois native divides his career into "two main parts." One within "the National Directorate of Customs Intelligence and Investigations (DNRED), in Paris, then in Lyon," and the other "in the Alps, in Savoie, Haute-Savoie, and Isère," where he held "departmental manager positions, up to deputy regional director. I had similar functions there to the ones I have now," he says.
