New progress is in sight in the fight against abusive canvassing, the scourge that pollutes French people's phones and—in the worst cases—results in fraud or scams. Parliament is expected to definitively adopt the ban on canvassing a consumer without first obtaining their consent on Wednesday, May 21, with a vote expected in the Senate. This is the sixth time in six months that Parliament has approved this measure.
