The American president mentioned a possible "new law" on the subject, assuring that he wanted to first take legal action against newspapers and publishers publishing content that he described as "dishonest".

US President Donald Trump threatened on Wednesday, February 26, to sue media outlets, authors and publishers using "anonymous sources."

“I will be suing some of these dishonest authors and book publishers, or even the media in general, to find out if these “anonymous sources” exist or not,” he wrote on his Truth Social platform, adding, “Who knows, maybe we can create a NEW LAW!”
