Fire destroys farm building in Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve

The incident occurred during the night of Monday 28 to Tuesday 29 July in Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve

A fire destroyed a farm building in Sainte-Colombe-de-Villeneuve on the night of Monday, July 28, to Tuesday, July 29. When firefighters arrived, the shed—approximately 1,000 m²—was already completely engulfed in flames.

The premises housed some 800 bales of straw and agricultural equipment. Firefighters quickly set up a water supply system by drawing water from a nearby body of water.

The gendarmerie also responded to the scene. The operation was still ongoing around midnight.
