Installation of moorings in Lège-Cap-Ferret: denounced this winter, one of the three contracts re-awarded to the same operator

For failing to survey anchorages in its sector, the service provider FJ Marine was stripped of its contract. The only candidate in the new call for tenders, it won it back in May… for an additional €60,000.
February 2025. The town of Lège-Cap-Ferret is "alert" following a complaint that one of its three mooring installation, removal, and maintenance service providers (approximately 800 each) has not recorded 150 moorings near Claouey at the end of the 2024 season. And it denounces the contract linking it to FJ Marine . While it acknowledges that this is not compliant, the operator notably pleads a long-standing practice (and before its arrival two years ago) in the sector. All this against a backdrop of political score-settling, with several opponents of the mayor denouncing past knowledge of these methods.
The contract was terminated and a new call for tenders for the 770 moorings in this market, causing a delay of several months in installation, was awarded... to FJ Marine, the sole bidder. And for an additional €60,000. The town hall is now demanding €57,000 in damages from FJ Marine for payment of services not rendered, which the company refuses. The dispute is headed to court. The saga continues.
