MaPrimeRénov' reinstated only for small jobs

The government announced on Tuesday, June 17, that the MaPrimeRénov' program will be suspended from June 23 to September 15, but only for major renovations. Replacing a boiler, for example, may still qualify for assistance.
To improve the thermal comfort of his house, which he bought in 2013, Matthieu Lavaine chose to redo the attic insulation. " We had damp inside the house. That's what prompted us to replace the insulation ," explains the owner. Thanks to MaPrimeRénov', he received €1,200 in aid for a total bill of €9,000. Attic insulation is what we call a single-step project, a single job.
After announcing the suspension of subsidies during the summer , the government has finally decided to maintain them under pressure from professionals. But this is only for single-action projects. Therefore, the following remain eligible: replacement glazing, insulation, and replacement heating or ventilation systems. For the time being, comprehensive renovations, such as replacing both insulation and heating, are no longer subsidized. This back-and-forth, according to professionals, risks slowing down clients' renovation projects.
