Planeezy in Sophia Antipolis: a tailor-made solution for managing staff scheduling

"An essential tool," "fun ergonomics," and even "child's play," Planeezy 's customers continue to praise the scheduling solution offered by Sophipolitaine. Fabio Trentini, founder and director of the startup, which has been supported by Village by Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d'Azur since April, confirms the success of his solution. "In large retail companies, shops, hotels, restaurants, and pharmacies, managing employee scheduling is a real headache," he explains. "You have to take into account constraints related to the activity, those related to the company's needs, and those inherent to each employee. And Planeezy takes care of everything. You can see in real time where staff are missing, who is on vacation, and so on. It's very easy to use." Fabio Trentini even indicates that it is this ergonomic side, accessible to all, which is the strong point of his solution, marketed since the summer of 2024. He knows that there is a lot of competition in the field of planning management, but Planeezy stands out according to him, by this ease of use "and by its price, he adds. 2.50 euros per employee per month. This allows small structures to benefit from a clear organization in no time."
Simplicity, flexibilitySaving time. This is also what Planeezy allows. "On average, it takes three to five days to plan the work of a team of twenty people," says Fabio Trentini. "We target professions where working hours are atypical. But, in France, 63% of employees have non-standard schedules, and 19% work nights or weekends." The 500 users already won over by Planeezy previously managed their schedules on an Excel spreadsheet. However, studies show that 88% of the software's spreadsheets contain errors (typos, forgotten updates, etc.) that can be costly. "Our solution prevents errors with a real-time alert system, if an employee doesn't have all their schedules for the week, if there are duplicates at a particular position, etc. And then, there is a real demand from employees for a more stable schedule. Fair."
Fundraising and internationalThe startup founded at the end of 2023 with a solution that has been on the market for less than a year has already won Travel Camp (a regional competition), received a French Tech Emergence grant from Bpifrance before being incubated at Linkeus (Marseille) and is now supported by the Village by Crédit Agricole PCA. Fabio Trentini, a native of Nice and a graduate of the École Centrale d'Administration (Centrale), is continuing the development of Planeezy from Sophia Antipolis with a partner and a colleague. "I started with €150,000 of equity. The solution works well, and we aim to further automate it, targeting an international clientele. By 2026, we plan to have thousands of customers." Let's bet that things are going well for Planeezy!
