Pregnant and threatened with eviction: the Right to Housing association takes action
With the end of the winter truce, evictions are on the rise in Paris, an alarming symptom of a worsening housing crisis: rising rents and utilities, a critical shortage of social housing, and real estate speculation, while public policies favor expensive housing at the expense of the most vulnerable. L'Humanité followed the Droit au Logement (Right to Housing) association, which mobilized in front of the 20th arrondissement town hall in Paris.
