They have seen the future." This is the slogan of the TheArsenale brand founded by Nice native Patrice Meignan and his wife Marcela in 2017. A brand that has just taken the Monegasque turn by setting up a showroom at the Fairmont Monte-Carlo, after having conquered Miami, New York, Macau, and Doha. A success that is paving its way and making TheArsenale the global benchmark platform for innovative mobility and avant-garde design. Ever since he was little, the Nice native has dreamed of cars. But not just any cars. His are true showcases of innovation. And he has made his dream a reality. By bringing together manufacturers and other designers who, like him, have seen the future.
He has an appetite for mobility but is equally sensitive to sustainable and environmentally friendly solutions. TheArsenale is the marriage of these two worlds. That's why he was sought out in 2018 to open his first showroom for the mobility of the future, a Design District, in Miami. A total success. He shifted gears and opened Macau, where he was also given carte blanche to present the models of tomorrow on a 2,500 m² space. Everything is coming together: New York in 2021, Doha in 2024, and Monaco this year.
The official opening of this Mobility Hub, the new name for the Design District, took place in the middle of the Grand Prix. "It made sense," explains Patrice Meignan. "Especially since the showcase offered to us by the Fairmont Monte-Carlo is a great location for those who love F1." But it's not all about Formula 1, despite the superb McLaren on display at the entrance. "As in our other Mobility Hubs, we're focusing on collaborations with young designers. Showcasing their creative approach. We like people who seek to reinvent the wheel." Patrice Meignan strolls through the boutique, where many people have come to admire the all-electric Renault Mobilize DUO, with its gullwing doors and sophisticated design, before its official launch at dealerships in September. "It's a Renault and TheArsenale collaboration. We're very proud of this product, which is accessible without a license." A little further on, a motorcycle of the future, also 100% electric, a DAB Motors, another collaboration with the Nice brand, released in only nine copies. Next to it, an old Porsche in restomod (new design) signed Nitid (alias Von Zadig), all electric, "amazing!"
With this 5th opening at the Fairmont, TheArsenale is firmly positioned in pole position among global platforms for the mobility of the future.
