Moselle. Sarreguemines: an anti-waste fridge for hospital staff

An anti-waste refrigerator was funded by the Sarreguemines Lions Club for the Robert-Pax Hospital. The goal: to make surplus produce available in the kitchen. On average, between 2,600 and 2,900 meals are prepared each day using cold storage.

The Chefs' Soup operation , organized by the Sarreguemines Lions Club during the Christmas market, helped fund two initiatives this year. The purchase of a guide dog, as well as an anti-waste refrigerator (around €1,000) for the Robert-Pax hospital . It was inaugurated this Thursday in the cafeteria.
